This post will make my 100th post since starting this blog the day after Independence Day one year ago.
The past year has been full of ups and downs. Sometimes I didn’t feel like writing on or just didn’t know what to write. And sometimes life just got in the way. I’m on this journey to improve who I am as a person, so I find myself thinking of and wanting to start other projects, which sometimes steal my focus away from Straight Talk.
I’m not a great writer or even that knowledgeable about whats going on in this country. But I’m proud of sticking with it and writing 100 articles, which for the most part come straight from the heart, good or bad.
I’m still trying to find my voice and have more of a balance to the type of articles that I write.
My goal moving forward is the same; to present ideas and solutions that will inspire, spur debate and encourage my peers to become more engaged.
In the coming months I’d like to feature several guest bloggers and interviews with interesting young Bahamians.
I encourage you to join me by liking my Facebook page, commenting here on this blog, or subscribing to my RSS feed to get instant updates in your email when I post.
Thanks for all of you who have subscribed to my blog, liked my Facebook page or commented on articles. This is still a work in progress and I am inspired that you read what I write. Thanks again.
