The Prime Minister’s Speech on Monday was probably one of the Most watched televised programs in The Bahamas. It’s a pity we don’t have Nielson ratings or something similar to confirm.
Certainly from discussions on social media sites, talk shows and around the water coolers in the offices today, it is the number one topic on the tongues of Bahamians.
My question today is what did you think about it?
Many are saying that it’s just a regurgitation of things that have been said previously.
Wayne Munroe DNA candidate as indicated that much of it is un-constitutional and the rest are already on the books
PLP operators have said that it’s a carbon copy of their plan and comes too late
Many Persons asked a very valid question: “How can we be serious about crime when the Prime Minister himself has admitted to breaking the law by not reporting his income over the last 4 years?”
Others add that while the speech has some good initiatives, it comes too late. They ask, where was this plan for the last 4 years? Why did it take so long for the government to bring a crime bill to the house?/
What did you think of The Prime Minister’s Speech?
